The international scientific conference, in the memory of Nikolay Sergeevich Kopanev, took place in St. Petersburg.
The University of Otago men’s eight visited St. Petersburg and got convincing revenge for the last year loss in the Match.
This weekend, September 20 and 21 bout teams of St. Petersburg State University and the University of Otago (New Zealand) will be held. Racing in the eights at 250 and 2000 meters will be held on Saturday September, 20 in Sestrorezk. The race at 5700 meters will starts on September, 21 in the center of St. Petersburg in the waters of the Fontanka River from the Old-Kalinkin Bridge to Bridge Laundry.
The fifth championships of the revived English Rowing Club took place on the 20th July in Sestroretsk.
An English Rowing Club member managed to get two silver medals at the National Championships in Moscow.

On the 8st of December, 2013, at 11a.m the Rowing Center "Energy" (Krestovsky Island, Deputatskaya 9B) will host the competition on rowing machines for the Disabled day.


It has been a long time since all rowing elite of our country gathered together in autumn, and even not only to identify the strongest but also in order to staff the national team for the autumn-winter training campaign. This fall, according to the organizers of competitions (that is the Russian Rowing Federation), everything had to radically change.

Information on regattas

On June 12, 2015, in the historic center of St. Petersburg on the waters of the Kronverksky Strait, between the Peter and Paul Fortress and Artillery Museum building, the 5rd International Rowing Regatta Golden Blades will take place.

A distance of 200 meters will be laid in the waters of the Kronverksky Strait along the fortress, which will allow participants and visitors enjoy the beautiful views of the sea capital of Russia.
